I have one of these. Works great to hang semi-clean pants/button ups on. I should just hang things in the closet, but popping something on these hooks is zero effort and I literally never just toss clothes on the floor/bed anymore.

I like this guy but they have them in single hook, double verticle hooks, and a whole rack. Depending on how thin your closet door is this thing has a little piece of plastic that's meant to accommodate thinner doors.

Got it on amazon! Here’s the listing but it seems to be sold out or discontinued. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYBTFPD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YKjDDb7YE4CF4

I mounted a set of hooks to the back of my desk like this. Then I just wrap the cords around them so they stay tight.

These wooden accordion pegs, make moving so easy! I hang them up with 4 thumb-tacks, drawing them out horizontally to maximize space. Holds 2 pair jeans, 3 shirts, my sunhat, my keys, my watch

I could use hangers but this is so much faster. With all the folding that I do, I could probably get rid of my closet once I find another one of these at goodwill.

For years now, I keep a wall-mounted coathook rack in my bedroom. It might not be the prettiest solution, but like you, I wanted a place to hang jeans, bras, shirts that aren't quite dirty yet but have been worn. It also ends up being a staging area for tomorrow's outfit, a place to hang-dry items, and hang up my PJs.

I do need to make a concious effort however, to avoid my coatrack becoming another clutter space.

No problem! We spent $93 and we did it over the weekend, so two days or so. The cost isn’t including stuff I had on hand like paint brushes, liquid nails, spray paint, or the corner braces for the mirror.

Light fixture- $30 ($15 on clearance for fixture and $15 new glass globes )

Shelves- $20 (Wood and unfortunately the brackets are out of stock from Amazon)

Paint- $20 ($10 each for a gallon from Lowe’s clearance paint area)

DIY “board and batten”- $12 ($2 furring strips per 8 ft long boards)

Hooks - $7

DIY mirror frame- $4 ($2 furring strips again plus some L-brackets/spray paint I already had)

Decor- shopped my house!

will they hang on a ladder hook? (this one is almost 8" deep)
This one is 10.5" deep.
Or a bike hook? (this one is 12" deep)

Can you post a link to a similar style of chair? I don't know what you mean by "camp chair"; people don't always use the same terms for things.

And, if they're those folding cloth "camp chairs," are they in a carrying bag?

If that is the kind you mean, and if they are all in a storage/carrying bag, then maybe not a deep hook but a row of them. (sometimes labeled a "wall coat rack") (you can make your own from a piece of lumber and inexpensive hooks)

Or, maybe just screw some inexpensive hooks into the stud behind the drywall, in a vertical row, slightly staggered on the stud.

Yes, you are overreacting. She didn’t steal the coat. Whether she would or wouldn’t have (had you not said anything)—the fact is that you did say something, and she didn’t steal it. You have no proof she was going to steal it, and you’re expecting them to...do what, exactly? You only have your own reasons and suspicions as to how there is no way she could have actually been confused or picked it up by accident.

Management or HR has no obligation to tell you how investigations/discipline are handled—they could have already addressed it with her, and you would have no idea. I am guessing she was mortified when confronted with this—she just got a new job, may not even have money for a coat, and is now being accused of theft before she even finishes training. You seem more upset that she hasn’t been permanently branded a coat thief, than about a person having no coat in the 20 degree Wisconsin winter.

Keep your coat at your own desk—either on the back of my chair, or get a cubicle hook.
