For the sauce, everyone's hair is different. One of my favorites that I don't hear mentioned too often is big sexy hair "frenzy"

I have longer hair (like you); Xtah does not have a shine and can look greasy if over applied but should do what you need it to. Pete and Pedros is very nice smelling and hold but may not have the hold you need with wavy hair.

I searched for boogies hair clay on Amazon and found Hair Dough, searched questions for boogies and read a review claims it was very similar or possibly more of what everyone loved.

Well I can't say I really use hairspray.

I use Smooth Viking. It doesn't get in my scalp, so no issues.

For the clay itself, it's super thick and hard to work in, so i usually open a new pack and put some water in there for a day or two, and then start using it.

I've never worked with Vilan Gold but from a look at the ingredients and description I'd recommend trying Label.m. Mud Clay sounds the closest or possible Texture Wax stick. Amazon Link

Yeah might get an inch off the top, and will get a 1 back and sides probably and ask her to fade it for me. I use this stuff, think it's sold in my local boots or sainsburies mate.

Try this molding paste. It ends up holding very thick with a low shine and dries out in place. Its a good price as well for the amount that you get.

Revlon Professional Style Masters Creator Matt Clay

If your hair isn't particularly cooperative, use this stuff. You only need a little bit, and with the right amount, it'll hold pretty damn well and not look greasy/oily.

I like Crown Shaving Matte Styling Clay.

I've read that shampooing your hair everyday is harmful. That being said, won't products build up in your hair if you don't shampoo? Would shampooing 3x a week (e.g., M/W/F) be an adequate compromise?

Also, any recommendations for hair wax? I tried Fiber and I didn't really like it. I'm looking at this. Thoughts?
