> -It's easily explained by light reflecting on a black laminate surface
Incorrect. Its not light reflecting off a surface. Trumps doesn't reflect light the way Hillarys does. Further more, you can see a glare already on the top of the podium. As Hillary walks past it the first time, she cast a shadow across the top front portion of the podium. This glare stays constant, while the screen powers up and down. I'm talking about the bronze part of the podium that Trump has his left hand on in the following pic.

>-Why would she need a teleprompter when she has notes right there?
Why would she need an ear piece? Its for real time coaching.
> -Who would make a teleprompter that, if discovered would ruin Cunton's chances, to be a huge,
Do you really underestimate her willingness to Lie, cheat, steal and kill to win the Presidency of the United States of America??? Do you understand what is at stake here?
> bright white rectangle that uses the entire width of the podium rather than something at least slightly discreet?
Its pretty damn discreet. So much that you are writing it off completely as... idk. Can you even explain why something like that would exist in the podium?
> A teleprompter would be black with light text on it. A huge, bright white screen would also be obvious because it'd be a huge glowing light source underlighting her
It is a black screen. Its black before she walks up to it. Its black when she walks away from it. It has a privacy reflector on it. https://www.amazon.com/3M-Privacy-Filter-Widescreen-GPF14-1W/dp/B002U0NDEI <---These are made so unless you are directly in front of the screen(just like Hillary) the screen appears blank. and in this case, gold. And if she was in a low lit or dark room, yeah the glow would be more apparent. But they are the most well lit people in the room. An LCD monitor doesn't appear to have much glow during the day time. Its only noticeable in a darkened room.
> and people would ask what the fuck is up with that lighting
And yet, no one is asking.
> At least go with the nose-scratch signalling and the mysterious notepad. Those are at least difficult to disprove.
THIS is the red fucking herring. Someone who works there grabbed her notepad. CONSPIRACY!!!! And I do believe she was signalling. My theory is, Notepad guy was there to just make sure the teleprompter was completely off. And he needed a reason to check, uhh... so I'll grab something off the podium. Yeah, I was there for her scratch pad.
> This secret screen hypothesis can be disproven as a light turning on and off. SAD
Why doesn't Trump have a light on his? And what is this Light for? And if you think the reflection is indicative of an external light shinning onto the surface, how come the floor around the podium or any other part of the podium doesn't light up or dim down? Why only hers. And if its an under light to hide drop shadows, to make her look better, wouldn't the microphone cast a shadow on her face?
It's like right underneath the mic. Trump's is solid, opaque black. Hers is like... transparent gold. Sort of like this.
There was a panel inside that podium flashing information to her. It powered down right as the debate ended.
Yep I caught that too after reading about it elsewhere as well. I was dismissive of it at first thinking that a can or spot from above was throwing onto her podium but you can see the difference in the whites reflected off the notepad stays the same and yet the angled strip at the head of the podium changes colour. Very odd indeed.
Here it is in HD lighting up at the BEGINNING of the debate:

I think there's some kind of light filter over it. Someone else suggested it could be like this:

This or This
There's a nicer version called Think Tank, but it's $80 so I don't know if you're looking to spend that much. These seem a little more reasonable.
We have used both the 3M and Fellows privacy screens in our hotel and casino clients. Seem to hold up in those environments. Can't remember having to replace any.

There are screens available to put over monitors that give it a very tiny viewing angle. Only the person sitting directly in front of it can see it.

Check out Trumps black strip behind his mic, first picture. https://imgur.com/gallery/WxsAR Hillary's is yellow, 3rd picture.
On the video, at the beginning, hers changes from yellow to black. She had a laptop installed into her podium.
WATCH THE LEFT. HER SCREEN POWERS DOWN

shes using some kind of privacy filter on the screen

we also have proof that the hilary campaign made specific custom work done on their podium
http://www.dailywire.com/news/9453/heres-hillarys-debate-podium-custom-made-make-her-james-barrett#
I think the podium under the mic is a display, and it has a "privacy filter on it" so you can only see it from a 0 Degree angle. Maybe something like this?
No, your eyes don't discriminate polarized light, so they will see light with any polarity. There is no combination of filters that will let the naked eye see darkness, and the filtered eye see something.
The closest you might get is to use a microvane filter ( privacy filter ), which only lets you see the screen if you are directly in front of it.
COMPILATION OF ALL WEIRD STUFF THIS FAR:
Hillary doing some sketchy stuff during the debate with help from the rat:
https://imgur.com/gallery/WxsAR
the big story is not even him sketchily getting the notebook.
WHAT THE FUCK DID HE GO BACK AND REACH ALL THE WAY INTO THE PODIUM FOR?!
CALLING ALL AUTISTS: WHO THE FUCK IS RAT MAN? (NO DOXXING)
EDIT: HOLY SHIT. HILLARY HAD A TABLET DEVICE BUILT IN TO THE "CUSTOM PODIUM" THAT SHE DEMANDED. SEE THIS THREAD FROM YESTERDAY/r/The_Donald/comments/54rnnx/its_possible_hilldogg_was_using_her_podium_to/
Her custom podium had nothing to do with "height" like she claims: https://www.hillno.org/clinton-gets-customized-podium-to-offset-height-difference-with-trump/

Notice the small triangular area behind the microphone and notice how the entire stage is brightly lit
The area I am speaking of is black before the debate began.
Now look at pictures

My theory is that there is some kind of privacy filter, like this: https://www.amazon.com/3M-Privacy-Filter-Widescreen-GPF14-1W/dp/B002U0NDEI
Otherwise, why is podium built that way? It makes no sense.
EDIT #2: HOLIER SHIT. when the debate ends, her and trump go to shake hands. Look at her podium on the very left. A light goes off... Her podium "powers off" whereas trumps was black the whole time (consult the imgur album above for proof). At the beginning of the debate, her podium "powers on."

EDIT #3: HOW HOLY CAN THIS SHIT GET?! HILLARY USES A HAND SIGNAL TO COMMUNICATE WITH LESTER
Credit: /u/deal_withit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XSuG5aCFGs
She scratches her nose to signal to Lester to either hit trump hard or to lob her a softball so she can regurgitate a memorized line. She can't do anything in real time
/u/makekoreagreat - "Hillary signaling to Lester when she wanted him to interrupt Trump so she could say something. This is why the debate turned after the first 30 minutes. It's basically as if Mark Cuban paid off the refs to throw the game. Microphone, Lester Holt, notebook. . . ."

WE HAVE TO BREAK THIS NEWS TO THE MAINSTREAM!
MODS STICKY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the same fear. Rationally, no one is looking, no one cares, and I know that. But the worry remains. I don't know why. But I get my best work done out of the house, so I just try to power through.
One thing I do is remind myself how often I actually try to read someone else's laptop (and how well i can even manage, which isn't very well).
Another thing I do is ask myself what I truly expect someone to say. Maybe in grade school or high school someone might jump up and say "ooh, is writing about !!", but in college and in the world at large, people just aren't likely to have anything to say about it. And if they do, you could just look at them weird and ask why they were reading over your shoulder.
It's all about breaking down the arguments of that little panicky voice in your head that thinks everything is going to go wrong. You just shoot them down one by one like an annoying child tugging on your pant leg.
If that doesn't work, there's also these things: https://www.amazon.com/3M-Privacy-Filter-Widescreen-PF125W9B/dp/B0055QQHGU
