I use a 30A hobby power supply. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ENFBXQS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And I use the XT60 connectors from Hobby king. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9572__Nylon_XT60_Connectors_Male_Female_5_pairs_GENUINE.html

Why did I choose them? High power capability, high quality, small footprint.

Configured 2, 30A switching power supplies - designed for CCTV and projects - to run at 110V and 13.8V. Used said Power Supplies to power 2 Maratrac 100 watt VHF radios and get them programmed up. Tested same - Win! $20 for the PS, $20 for the radios - makes for some cheap get out and talk to someone setups. Mount 'em in a vehicle and they're mobiles.

Also, used a modular power supply out of an old Dell PowerEdge 2850 - modified - to power up and program a 100 watt VHF Spectra - new garage radio! That makes 3 VHF radios in the basement alone now. TM-V7A in the shack, a 50 watt Spectra in the TV room and the 100 watt Spectra out in the garage.

Love me some old Mother Moto gear - stuff is cheap and dang near indestructible.

Let's say These 2.1 Plugs with This PSU do the trick? Just had one Fury PSU go bad so thinking about switching them all over now.
