They aren't the cheapest, but I've found these cameras to be super-reliable so far... ^(note the lack of affiliate bullshit)
They've been plugged in and running, basically 24/7 for the past three months... one in the basement, one in the garage (testing different environments)
Plus they support ONVIF out of the box, so if you have something like BlueIris, or other NVR software, you could get a recording of how they're pulling it off.

The cameras that don't work for me are Amcrest Ultra HD 2K Dual Band, IP3M-941B running:
