These Max-Q SKUs are not replacing the existing laptop GPU lineup. Just giving more options to people who wants higher performance in thin and light form factor.
Saying the same thing over and over again doesn't make it true.
Wow. The minimum requirement is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 or GeForce GTX 1080.
You really won't have many options, and most will be very 'loud' gaming laptops that are pretty damn heavy and not something I would claim to be very mobile.
Maybe start looking at something like an Alienware or a Acer Predator.
Otherwise maybe think about building a desktop and buying a cheaper laptop for portable use.
How about this?
Great options already recommended my vote goes to this.
If you can go over your budget, getting this Acer Predator 17 X GX-792-703D laptop with the awesome NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB of GDDR5X dedicated graphics card would definitely be the right way to go, especially if you want the extreme best gaming performance not only now but in the near future. Apart from that powerful graphics card ( the best available for laptops , this laptop has an extremely powerful and new 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7820HK Processor, a massive 32GB DDR4 RAM, fast 500 GB SSD and 1 TB Hard drive.. In addition to specs, it has a very good build quality , decent battery life and beautiful 1080p IPS display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and a very good heat management which is crucial in gaming.
This laptop will run the games you have listed above on ultra settings and should perform well in the next 5 years.
Hi _DarkBelow I am more than happy to help you :-) hope 17inch is ok. I would like to draw attention to the Acer Predator 17 X GX-792-703D. Firstly this 17.3inch beauty has a HD (1920 x 1080) widescreen IPS display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology value for your money. Looking a the processor a 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7820HK Processor which provide the processing power to deal with after effects, 4k editing and photoshop etc, 32GB RAM DDR4 sweet :-). For storage 512GB SSD plus 1TB HDD. Saved the best part for last,NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with 8 GB of dedicated GDDR5X VRAM you can max out any new game on it and is capable of playing future games.
Not necessarily. In the past, that was true. But these days, a good deal of gaming laptops run just as good as desktops. This is because many of them no longer bother with 'mobile' versions of cards, and just maker larger and better cooled computers in the process.
Aside from the ones listed here, which I'm grateful for being shown to me, there are ones like this one which are expensive, yes, but just as strong.
Likely, whatever I get, will be from Amazon, and paid overtime rather than all at once, to help lift the weight of its cost.
