/u/sullivvn this is a great suggestion, but you'll have a small problem with it. If you're using it as a boom microphone this cable is only a few inches long. It's designed for when using the audio recorder on top of your camera.

You may have previously had a cable to connect the two together, but it won't work because the adapters are now wrong. The existing cable would be male to male. You need male to female now to use with the new line matching cable. Otherwise you'll be trying to connect two male ends together. You would connect this extension to the Zoom, then to adapter, then to the camera.

All you need is a simple AmazonBasics 3.5mm Male to Female Cable. That one is 12 feet long. They also have 25 feet available for a few dollars more if you need the extra distance.

So just get male to female 3.5mm cables, https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01CNAV1K2

If you need an extension cable, AmazonBasics sells some: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CNAV1K2/

Hah yep I use pretty much the exact same type of speaker for this. It's just a crosley radio (no bluetooth) with aux in, though.

So yeah I would do the Schiit stack then get a RCA to 3.5mm cable like this or this which would feed from the back of the Vali to the B2. If you're not wanting to listen to it through the speaker you can just turn off the B2, or select a different input (bluetooth?).

Alternatively, you could skip the RCA output and just use a 3.5mm male to female aux cable + 1/4in adapter out of the headphone output.. which would go to an Aux cable you leave connected to the B2. Just switch between that aux cord and your headphones out of the headphone port.

I just use the headphone output, but as I type this I remember I saw I had a RCA to 3.5mm cable last night so might switch it.

nope, straigh 3.5 to 3.5mm
actually this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CNAV1K2/ref=twister_B01GTH5Z3E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
got it because i needed to put my cpu farther away, so i connect my HD598 with the stock 1.2m cable to the amazon basics, to be fair, i really like the sound a lot more this way.

I honestly had the same thought go through my head, I thought is having a male+female 3.5mm hanging on the wire going to be that much lighter than the stock DT770 cable?

The answer is yes, much lighter, granted I'm using the amazon basics extension which has a really small/lightweight female end, and my 3.5mm is Amphenol KS3PC-AU which is more expensive but it's higher quality and more lightweight than the cheap alternative you buy in stores so I don't even notice the connection.

Even still, doing a chassis mount female connection is going to be less weight than what I did, but I definitely don't feel any weight hanging on the wire (At least with the DT770 which is what I primarily use).

The guy brings up important points. Unless Nintendo comes up with a workaround like an audio jack Bluetooth transmitter, then sadly I think this will be the only solution for docked headset game audio/voice chat
