We use a couple different brands of IP cameras and Blue Iris Software connected to a PC in my home office.I have a very similar setup at my business. We have several different cameras like these Amcrest indoor cameras and outdoor cameras as well as this doorbell camera. I can use the Blue Iris mobile app on my iPhone or iPad and see all the cameras at my business or home.

The reason I really like this setup is because 1) I don't want my video stored in the cloud and 2) I don't want to have to pay a monthly fee for the service. These videos are only stored on the local computers and although I know they may not be 100% secure I feel much better knowing they're not uploaded to some cloud that's always a target for hackers.

These Amcrest cameras have better specs, including wider field of view, and SD card support for backup recording in case the NVR is down.
