I use silent alarms on my fitbit flex2. The main unit pops out of the wristband and is a fairly strong vibrator for it's size. You can set the alarms on your phone. Just make sure to charge it once a week.
I also have a set of these silicone gem plugs. Just checked and the stem of the largest one is thick enough to accommodate the fitbit unit if you take the gem out and make a slit or hole through the stem. Then replace the gem to cover it.
