u/Physister2 - I did a video showing how the NP-F plate on top of the camera works a while back. Parts list in the YouTube notes and below:

Andoer NP-F battery adapter plate for BMPCC - $16.88 (costs a lot less than the ANSSO)
1/4-20 male-to-male screw - $2.69
Dual Sony NP-F550 batteries and charger - $35.99

With this setup, you can keep your BMPCC powered all day without spending a lot of money.
