the one you're looking at...I wouldn't recommend, the processor is REALLY low (1.5GHz). The RAM is good at 4GB and the hard drive size isn't really gonna be a problem (you can always buy external ones). This one is a good option (http://www.amazon.com/7750G-6662-Notebook-2-4Ghz-Windows-Premium/dp/B005OZUFRE/ref=sr_1_1?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1343188172&sr=1-1) It has a good processor, RAM, and HDD. I have had 2 Acer laptops and they've performed amazingly.

Basically the stuff you should look for is a processor of ATLEAST 2.4GHz, ATLEAST 4GB of RAM, and hard drive size is your personal preference. I am figuring you'll probably want to have multiple programs running at the same time, so that's why I'm recommending these specs.

I hope I helped! :) Good luck at school too!

Before I got my wonderful desktop a couple years ago, I played ESO on this thing. It ran fine at lowest graphics, but there were some odd graphical bugs that I could never resolve. The shadows in indoor spaces, specifically caves, liked to spaghetti everywhere.

If graphical issues are bound to bug you, that's another thing to consider when deciding on your potato. Firsthand experience from someone, though, is probably the only thing that can help you predict these issues. Good luck!
