EIDT: And some games that nobody is looking to pay more than a few bucks for along with a lot nobody will pay for at all. Retro stuff has already depreciated a lot. Only the super rare good stuff is worth anything. Snag a copy of Chrono trigger with the original box and then you've got yourself a good deal.

if you are dead set to get it repaired - check your local area for electronic repair shops. Not many out there but there are a few. Not sure what they charge though.

Just checked amazon.. they have on there for 60 bucks. Might be the best way to go.
