I've been longboarding for about a year, using my friends' boards until a couple of months ago, when I got this longboard secondhand from someone I know.
Well, the board was run over by a car, but I still have the rest of the parts so I went ahead and got this deck to replace it. Alongside that, I got a set of Bones Reds bearings to replace the stock ones. My question is: what other upgrades should I prioritize to improve on the stock Atom setup? Which improvements will yield the best cost-to-performance ratio?
I primarily use the board for cruising, though I'd like the option of doing some downhill if I decide to later on. I know very little about longboard parts, and the selections for each different piece are quite daunting. Here's hoping someone here can provide me with some guidance.
Thanks!
