I just bought this for the microphone. It works pretty well for me and even clips onto the desk.

An Emmy is quite fancy!

Chew toys are overpriced!

This Pop Filter on my wishlist is just a bit under $10,000. :P

Over 10K? Fancy!

Thanks for the contest!

I can't decide between this and this for a Blue Yeti. Suggestions?

I'm just getting into streaming, but I really want to get into it seriously. (Of course I'll still have a job in the meantime, but I plan on streaming at least every day for a few hours)

I am aiming for 1080p/60fps, and eventually 4k when twitch finally upgrades.

As far as the shockmount, i have a bulldog who likes to get my attention by rubbing up against my table... I dont know if that will mess up my audio lol.

Now for pop filters, should I just get something like:

Do not worry. It's Christmas for everyone and we all are a little bit busy!

I am the one person that pretty much tries to get people to not buy 2 980s. I feel like it's such a waste of money, no matter how much you got. I just can not suggest it at all. Perhaps only for 4K gaming, but I almost always tell these builds, that 4K gaming is pretty much possible for now, but you have to upgrade very soon when new games come out that are more demanding. So yes, I can't suggest GTX980 in SLI.

As for the 6 core vs 4 cores. You have to firstly understand that almost all games run on 2 cores. This is what developers are pretty much still forced to do because the market of gaming, still got a lot of people with only 2 cores in their systems. Meaning if they create a game that runs very bad on 2 cores, a lot of people would get mad/not buy the game. While some games run better on 4 cores and a very few run better on 4 cores with hyperthreading and perhaps 1 game runs better on a 6 core. To me it comes down to price/performance. Here is a very old review of your CPU. Where at this page, they say it as well. "None of the games here can take advantage of more than 4 cores." So the benchmark numbers are relatively close together. How-ever the intels do slightly better.

So they do mention in this review that Intel got better CPUs, but they cost a lot more. What makes them better? Better single/multi core performance. This has stayed the same for a long while and is still relatively true as of now.

As for "hyperthreading" for games. There are games comming out that do start to take advantage of it, but this doesn't MEAN that a CPU without hyperthreading won't work well, it will just have a few less frames. I heard from 1 person here that Metal Gear Solid 5 get's an improvement for more cores/threads. But I actually can't find any CPU benchmark results of this game. So I don't know if this is correct. Anyway, for now I still fall back to this awesome benchmark comparision between the i5-4670K and i7-4770K. The only real difference is stock clock speeds and 4 cores 4 threads vs 4 cores 8 threads.

A somewhat good comparision for a 6 core vs 4 core CPU as of today is done by going to AMD vs Intel. Here is a very short comparision of a 6 core (FX-6300) AMD CPU vs a 4 core (i5-4570) Intel CPU.

As for switches, the guide I provided is very well to understand the switches. How-ever if you want to hear the switches, you can have a listen over here. His microphone for some reason is very bad at the beginning but after a few minutes he somehow manages to change it and fixes it for a good part. NOTE: he only shows the MX blues on a keyboard, wich gives the true sound. The tests that he does are "fairly" accurate, it's not exactly the same as when the switches are mounted on a PCB. I have a tester myself that is even mounted on a plate, but even that one is not exactly the same as my MX-browns. The browns were even more quiet on this "tester" that I got. So when I got my MX-brown keyboard, it felt very loud as my expectation was set to have a relatively quiet keyboard. How-ever I did came from MX-blues who were a lot louder. So yes, no complaint here.

The mouse should work as it got 8 buttons. 5 On the left side where your thumb is.

Oké, that's pretty awesome. I do have to ask what headset you currently have. Just to make sure it is "good enough" so an upgrade wouldn't be worth it. As I am a little bit of a audio guy, I just prefer to have great sound in games and music. Makes me enjoy the use of the PC a lot more. I am currently listening to some awesome classical/trailer music! Current song: Two Steps from Hell - Protectors of the Earth

Great, indeed the blue yeti is indeed a great microphone. I would advise a pop filter as well, who are generally not that expensive and make the voice quality even better.

No problem! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Yes, there's a market for all body types. Many sex workers are pleasantly surprised at the level of demand for their "look". However, you will likely need to hustle more and it may take you a little longer to find your audience if you don't have a classically beautiful body. You can get started with just your computer's webcam or a phonecam. People have shot feature films on phone cameras.

The key to getting good video out of a phone camera is to learn to take advantage of natural lighting, and lights you already may have (such as desklamps, worklights, Christmas lights). I recommend reading about how to light / film yourself first, then decide what kind of lighting you need:
