If you look at the ingredients, colloidal oatmeal is prominent which I'm guessing is the ingredient responsible for reducing the redness. Maybe experiment with some CO packets (Aveeno Soothing Baby Bath Treatment, Single Use Packets, inexpensive experiment) or even Oat oil (avena sativa, not colloidal but oat still) to see if that's the ingredient helping you.
