I had this exact problem last year when I ended up with a retail job after a long slew of office work. What ended up working for me was this . They're pretty cute, not too much heel, and very very comfortable. Depending on your dress code at work, maybe also look into getting some Croc flats. Crocs came out with a line of "dress" shoes a while back--they wouldn't stand up to close scrutiny, but they're good enough for customers who aren't staring at your feet for prolonged periods of time.
