You need an enzymatic cleaner. I had a mildew problem or something going on with some cedar boards in my basement. Didn't smell like cedar, and it smelled musty. I used Bac-A-Zap with excellent results. Isn't super toxic spraying it on (wear a mask, but the smell is sort of pine-y). Takes one or two applications, and the smell should go away over the course of a week. I noticed improvement right away.

It will smell, but I've found that if you can fog this stuff into the area where the dead body is (or bodies are), it will speed up the decomposition.
