This beef protein is pretty good. Flavor is great if you like stevia and solid enough if not. I'm not a huge fan of stevia personally, but it's not bad and I find if I mix in some kind of fat or other flavors in general it can tone it down a bit. It dissolves pretty well, too. The nice thing is that literally the only ingredients are beef protein, cocoa (or vanilla equivalent), and stevia.

If you're not concerned about your beef being grass fed and not sourced from China, then Bulk Supplements also has a beef protein powder.

Chicken livers and discount meats are on the cheap side of protein sources but that's just step one. Turning them into food requires processing and additional ingredients. How much cost does that add? It's hard to know because meat products in the direction we're looking don't really exist. The only thing I'm aware of would be isolated beef protein but that's actually inferior to vegetarian options like whey or soy. From a more traditional perspective we have sausage which is awful for health and doesn't meet the convenience target either.

Meat has been brought up a few times before but it never goes anywhere. Meat doesn't seem to have any processing styles presently that achieve compatible results. You could use soylent principles to design a meal including meat but efficiently incorporating that meat into a single food product is outside current food technology. This is the conclusion commenters have been skipping to.

It's fun to think of what could work but due to the perishability of meat we're left with few options. We have various combinations of preservatives, drying, and heat processing. Maybe some kind of intermediate jerky/spam bar could be made that works. It has yet to be invented though. You'd definitely have a market if you went for it. The market for protein is good.

Another thing that's ruffling feathers is your insistence that meat is somehow uniquely good. I like it and it's good at what it does but for satiety and nutrition there are vegetarian alternatives that are better suited. Fiber and water are useful but if vegetarian recipes want they can add protein and fat as well. I decided a long time ago while tinkering with my DIY recipe to reduce carbs and favor fat and protein more. There are ketogenic recipes. Meat doesn't have a unique claim on those macros.

That's the issue and the metadiscussion I see. People skipped to the conclusions and the details between were left out but I don't see any other way to go. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and hope that your discussions go better in the future. I don't often get the opportunity to look at problems through such unusual lenses so I'd love to hear
