I have had several of these over the years (not cuz of quality, these are amazing). They are a bit more than your budget I think, but they last a LONG time. I would say over a year. I wear them almost constantly at home (wood floors also) and I like the solid sole on them. They feel like shoes so I can run outside to the mailbox with them or run a quick errand without having to change them!
