If you have a little extra change to throw around the Bowers & Wilkins C5 Series 2's are sick af. I opted for earphones instead of headphones for convenience as I like my music on the go. Simply put, they're incredible. They have this interesting little loop created by the audio cable that keeps the actual earphone safely and comfortably in your ear. Quality build as well. That said, I know you care about the sound (as you should), so I'll get to that. Good news is the sound is phenomenal. Bass is thick and strong without overpowering the highs and mids. Indeed, the highs are crisp af. I wish the mids were a touch better, but it's not really noticeable to be honest. Anyways, hope this was some help. Happy hunting fam.
I have these 3 that all sound great in their own ways: ATH-M50x (closed), Sennheiser 598 SE (open) and Bowers & Wilkins C5 Series 2 (in ear). I'm no audiophile but definitely appreciate the improved sound with any of these headphones and the V20.
I also have the free promo B&O PLAY earphones on their way. I'm curious to compare them to the Bowers & Wilkins.
