Personally I prefer this style. Holds two pairs and keeps them more out of the way.

yeah. All this stuff is lightweight and doesn't get hot.

I would not use this to hang a Magni 2, Magni 3 or any other headphone amp that gets warm.

I bough this under desk headphone hanger, which works great. But I used the adhesive pad it came with. I really regret that now, and wish I had taken the pad off and used Command strips instead.

This is the head phone hanger I use under a shelf that is next to my desk . They also have this.

Oh, that's the controller for my motorized standing desk. The headphones are hanging on a BRAINWAVZ Truss behind it.

It's very nice looking, but this dual-headphone hangar works just fine, is only $17, has a 2-year warranty, and is large enough to hang a VR headset, two controllers, and a pair of full-size headphones. This is what I use.

Of course, it depends on your willingness to leave it under a desk surface instead of on top, but a number of (somewhat informal) surveys have indicated that this is precisely the kind of scenario most VR users are dealing with right now. This product seems kind of niche, i.e. "I do VR in a living room or other large space with plenty of surface space available for accessories." I'm not sure that describes most VR folks right now.

All of that said, I do hope they succeed and that the buyers like their product. More VR accessories on the market is a good thing, and shows growth and acceptance in the industry - something it really needs right now.

Nice setup. I recommend a headset hanger so you can hang your headset under your desk. It will free up some room on yoir desk and clean it uo :)

A standard 60mm drill tip, makes a 60mm hole in your desk. I have one under my 1m mouse mat which has my keyboard, mouse and headset mix amp which cables go through to keep cables off my desk. Then I will drill another hole to the left of my peripherals for a wireless desk charger which is 60mm as well.

Another thing as some have mentioned are monitor arms, gives so much more desk room. Then another are cable clips and 3m scotch pads. These things keep cables off the floor and underneath the desk. (This is good for the cables now going through that hole you made earlier if you do do it). The 3m can then stick a USB hub under your desk to easily access a USB port to charge your stuff. Give me a second and I’ll link some of the stuff.

Thanks, I requested these shots because I own the BD COPs, which are pretty similar in size to the 770s and I plan on buying X2s (and the Beyerdynamic Amiron Home), which won't fit on my Truss together, I guess.

That means for me, that I'll need another storage thingy...yaaay

I use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0192P8U5U/ref=abs_add_sc_

it's all metal so I like it more than the silicone Anchor.. damn, they're making a killing even at $10.

Of course.

Thats the Brainwavz Truss.

It's such a wonderful rabbit hole though right?

sure thing! It's an ozium jar, I forgot to move it for the picture. It just captures odor and smells clean. I've thought about a cable sleeve but I've been adding and removing stuff for awhile now. Maybe, if I haven't done anything for a few months Ill work on that. Any ideas on what kind of sleeving to use? It's thick https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0192P8U5U/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/BRAINWAVZ-Hooka-Metal-Headphone-Hanger/dp/B01DNLLTIE/

It's really nice, all metal but expensive, they also have other models.

Note that the stick-on ones will not stick to most walls, I have mine on the side of my desk which is just your standard particle board + veneer desk.

If you're really cheap you can find a spring clamp at a big box hardware store for a few bucks, it's what I did for a good while.

I think it's pretty sweet, buuuuttttt...

  1. Get some cable management.
  2. Get some cable management.
  3. Get something to old your headphones like this
  4. Take a picture from higher up, This angle makes us feel like we're falling.
  5. Get some cable management.
  6. spray paint the white of your plastic drawers so that they match the aesthetic.
  7. Consider moving that beast of a tower to the floor, or onto a stand on the floor. It really overwhelms that space and makes it feel cramped. Let the displays and the shelf give you an open feeling.

You're like, 90% of the way there. That last 10% will make all the difference.
