I got this one. It's wireless. Works perfectly with minimal setup. No perceivable lag. Battery life isn't great though, but it works when plugged in via USB too.

I play on the PS4 with an elite controller.

I don't know what level of competitive you want to play and I don't know if there will be restrictions on converter by sites like gamebattles (or whatever, if you plan on playing games via there).

But if you just want to use an xbox elite controller, then this is what I use.

Its a bit fiddly to fit in, but it works pretty flawlessly. I don't notice any input lag or the like.

You have to unplug the converter and use an xbox if you want to configure the controller.

It is a bit weird trying to do things like take screenshots or record clips, as its not just the big PS4 button but a combination of buttons on the elite controller. A google could find the different combination for action though.

Edit: Just thought I would add, that when I played both weekends on the Beta (including early access) my controller symbol in the lobby was always a PS4 one.

This is the adapter i told you earlier. In my opinion ots worth it. I got myself a custom scuff controller for around 200 bucks. The elite 2 + adapter costs around 220. the elite 1 is allready far better then my scuff.

The Xbox One Elite controller is arguably the best stock controller you can buy. So get one of those, get a Switch adapter for it, and you're set.

Yeah it's a drag...Even RB and LB don't register clicks as well as my xbox controller. (I play with indexes on LB and RB and middle fingers on the triggers)

I'm considering this, to plug it to my xbox elite controller. Do you think the switch will compute the analog triggers correctly though?

Allows one to use one's Xbox controller on PS4. Its what I use as the Dualshock is shit compared to the One controller.

the xbox controller works better. If you happen to have an xbox one controller. I would suggest x one adapter. It can be used for ps4, xbox, switch and pc. It add gyroscope to the xbox one controller which doesnt have. It works flawless on ps4.

Works wirelessly on the PS4. I've used it with the standard Xbox One controller. Also works with the Xbox Elite controller.

Edit: Do note that this only works with the Xbox One controller, the 360 controller will not work.
