They're designed specifically for wrapping around cables. Use the P-touch software to design/print the labels... works best for proper orientation, font size, etc.
They work great, reasonably priced. Other laminated tapes tend to split in the cold conditioned air of a data center...
One of the Brother P-Touch label makers that will do rotate repeat for cables. And the TZ tapes are pretty reasonable. If you will be labeling wires buy this.
There are different models of the Brother P-Touch labelers and they do different things, you should be able to find the differences online.
