Almost impossible to dissolve this stugg, so get some 00 size capsules. I use the ones u/dneals turned me on to and they work fine: Bulksupplements Empty (00) Capsules (300 Gelatin Capsules - White) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KY9BR7Q/

Like many herbs, be aware there's a possibility the powder could have side effects over time, or interact with drugs you're taking, so do your research. Until further studies are done, I doubt any MD, DO, or GI doctor will approve of you taking this, but I would still let them know how much you are dosing. On the other hand, they'll freely prescribe drugs with a litany of dangerous side effects, so I guess just pick your poison :)

u/camelCaseWord recently mentioned to be aware of possible pulmonary complications, and here's a couple studies I saw regarding PAH:

Some search terms to consider: "Indigo Naturalis" or "Qing Dai" or "Qing-Dai" + "Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension" or + "liver function" or + "safety", or + "containdications", etc.

Here's a bit more info on the herb itself:

Personally, I haven't gone super deep into it's safety, but I'm having my liver functions monitored every 6 months or so to be safe, and I check my BP/pulse regularly.
