The HP G5 would be my choice - it has both an upstream USB-C port and a downstream port and the most capable DisplayPort MST/repeater chip. So you can plug the Dock into the laptop, and the Cintiq into the dock and be good to go for either MBP or SB2.

I was thinking about this Caldigit dock. It has dual display ports. What are your thoughts on this dock?

Lovely setup. I was about to get the Lenovo dock, then read some reviews from people about a firmware update knocking out some ports. At the same moment, Caldigit released their newer no-driver-required Thunderbolt 3 / dual displayport dock. I've been using it for a week now and totally loving it. I own a Lenovo P1 Gen 2 with 64 GB ram. Dock as follows:
