First thing I'd recommend: buy some carbquik and check out all the awesome replacement recipes because if you're like me, you love Pizza.
Also Great Low Carb Bread Co has some amazing bread & pasta products (Netrition carries it for cheaper shipping if you're on the east coast like me) and look into cauliflower rice/potatoes if you like those staples.
The hardest part of the transition for me was not having access to food staples. It hamstrung my start twice before I found these options. These days I eat mostly Paleo and natural foods, so I eat less of these, but they're amazing stepping stone tools to get you into the diet with low effort.
I use it at least twice a week. For certain recipes it's amazing. I use it for frying exclusively and with a flavored sauce it taste pretty close to flour. They have. Cheese biscuit recipe and a tollhouse chocolate chip cookie that are also my favorites
You could also do this recipe battered with soy flour.
If you buy two boxes it's like 11 bucks a box....i use it often and might buy two boxes a year
