we have that blanket in purple and it's as soft and comfy as it looks. I think it might hide the dog fur and pull in that old hollywood vibe.

I'd also suggest going with a duvet instead of a comforter, swapping the cover out weekly with the sheets will help with keeping down the animal fuzz. Plus, what's better than a big ol' bed with a big fluffy duvet?
