Ya know, I just had an interesting idea for proper wings on a Tyreal cosplay that would appear fairly accurate and make some sense. Get some kind of very flat projector like this, somehow build it into the back armour so it's fairly hidden (shouldn't be hard with all the shit that sticks out of the back of Tyreal's armour), and use it to project actual Tyreal wings behind you, moving and everything. During the day, or where there is a lot of light, your Tyreal costume would be wingless, but during the dark, when evil shows its face, people looking at you head on would see actual Tyreal angelic tentacle wings in all their glory. Hell, even walking down a hallway looking at it from an angle would look cool, as long as you didn't look at it perpendicular to the projection.

I really want to see someone try this now... could be amazing.
