I have 2 of the Nintendo to scart cables off amazon for like 6/7 dollars and they're shielded well. No buzz on the audio, and I'm still amazed everytime I see the rgb out of a snes mini. my model 1 died so I upgraded and the image is substantially sharper and more vibrant with the mini. Also if you know how to solder you can find the rgb amp and board for like 5 dollars. Seriously it cost me 10 bucks to rgb mod my n64 and snes mini. Knowing how to solder is awesome mannn

or this, a slightly easier install

NES only does yellow Composite RCA plug so you're stuck with that (unless you get it RGB modded for like $200...)

SNES: the guys who do the Street Fighter 2 (SNES) game night in NYC swear by this one:

I bought that one but haven't tested it out myself; I use the company linked to below for SNES (and all my cables actually)

PS1/PS2 can use the same exact cable:

There's a couple different flavors of that one too: lightgun port, different syncs, etc...

Sega Genesis:

Couple different flavors too: 1 with a stereo plug to go to the front headphone jack (otherwise it's mono) - different versions for the Genesis version 1 vs. version 2 as well.

On mine I always upgraded to the better shielding coax cable, which was advised since I got these in 10' length (the stock 5' is just too short IMO - that won't even run from a shelf, down the wall, to your monitor in most setups).

Are console scart cables created equal? I see some snes cables for pretty cheap with free shipping on amazon, but I need to know if they are equal before I pull the plug
