They are overpriced for what they are. They are pretty bad quality honestly but they look nice.
I would consider watches from Seiko, Orient or Citzen instead in that price range. I would take a look at the Orient Bambino.

Citizen has some nice watches within your budget as well. The Eco Drives are powered by light which is cool.
Edit: Here's an example
Not op, but Citizen has a lot of affordable Sapphire crystal watches.
The Citizen Corso checks all your boxes. I have one and it’s great.
I'd recommend Citizen Eco-Drive if you're looking for quartz:
Both watches have sapphire crystals and 100m water resistance.

A Citizen Eco-drive watch with sapphire for $150. That might be the best I can find. I can vouch that Citizen movements, even on lower cost watches are still quality. Second hand should still be hitting the second marks for all 60 seconds, although I have never personally seen that watch linked in action. I think that’s actually a really good price, I think even online those usually go for $200+
Citizen is pretty good in the 2-300 bracket. I prefer leather or steel over canvas, myself though.
You could go subdued with this one: http://www.amazon.com/Citizen-BM7100-59E-Corso-Drive-Dress/dp/B004JKBEUM/
Or maybe a little more casual: http://www.amazon.com/Citizen-BL5250-02L-Titanium-Eco-Drive-Leather/dp/B000EQS0WK/
Citizen EcoDrive. Many of their watches can be found on Amazon in your price range. Make sure the watch is SOLD by Amazon directly.
The watches are good quality and EcoDrive means the watch needs only reasonable exposure to light to keep running. NO BATTERY CHANGES, and no need for mechanical watch servicing. These watches should last beyond 10 years with no maintenance.
Tip: If you find a watch you like with a metal band, take a closer look at how the band connects to the watch. Many watches with metal bands can be swapped to leather, rubber, or nylon with minimal effort. I'm wearing a watch right now that came on a metal band, but is currently on leather, and I have a nylon strap for it as well.
I was looking at these 2 citizens. I realized that my father isn't going to want to spend $100 to get an automatic serviced, so I started looking at other movements.

I get that. I thought the dial was too busy when I first got it, but it doesn't get in the way of reading the time, so I would call it well executed, but still busy.
I think most people associate Citizen for the busy dials ( like the Nighthawk and AT ), but they have some simple dress watches, and even some simple sport models. The Corso is their best known simple sport model -- https://smile.amazon.com/Citizen-BM7100-59E-Corso-Drive-Stainless/dp/B004JKBEUM/
A simple white dial dress watch -- https://smile.amazon.com/Citizen-Eco-Drive-BM7190-05A-Stainless-Steel/dp/B00843L6ZI/ -- they have a number color and metal combinations on this model.
A sunburst blue mechanical -- https://www.longislandwatch.com/Citizen_NH8350_83L_Watch_p/nh8350-83l.htm -- this particular blue model is in stock about a 4 days every 6 months. I bought one a while back for about $110, and it is a nice simple dress watch, but at 40mm. These get insanely priced on some of the grey site due to availability issues.
I own two three hand models from Citizen, that NH8350-83L ( sorry bad light and worse camera ), and a blue promaster diver.
All of these would be solid buys:
Slightly out of your range, but an amazing watch
Sporty and can be dressy
I have this watch and I'm obsessed with it
This can be found pretty cheap on Amazon
Decent all-around watch
I have this one, a Citizen solar-powered watch which works very well indoors with sapphire glass that is unbelievable scratch resistance, keeps time very accurate and doesn't need a battery swap at all. Water resistant up to WR100.
I love this watch.
Edit: and it is silent. Nothing not to love about this watch.
Corso
Close very close
Anyone have experience with one of these three watches?

I have a 7" wrist so probably on the smaller side is better. I like the look of the stainless citizen the best but titanium at a similar price is enticing
Looking to get a new watch. I have a Samsung S2 classic and it just looks tacky with the band that it has. I'm going to get a new band for it, but I also want to expand and start a collection.
I want a nice, affordable watch that will look great on a brown leather NATO band.
This is what I've been looking at : Citizen Men's BM7100-59E https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004JKBEUM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=PPVS3DXW0J9G&coliid=IGA2E46UICJEF

I've also been looking at the Timex Weekender and from I've read that isn't a bad choice for the price, but a lot of people say it can be loud. It is a simple watch, and that is what I really want though I do like the chronograph look and function.
If anyone has had any experiences with the watches I listed I'd love to hear or other suggestions that would be great. I'd just like something that will look nice on a leather nato. The price range I'm looking at is about $50-200 bucks.
Right now I'm just looking for casual watches to wear. My great-grandfather had a nice gold Caravelle that Id like to take off it's expanding bracelet and put on a simple black leather band if I need something somewhat classy-ish.
There was a post I saw the other night listing decent starter watches, I'm just having a hard time deciding. I just don't want to blow money on a mistake because I know next to nothing about watches and maybe there's something I'm not thinking of that someone more experienced than me could pass along to a noob.
Thanks for taking the time reading this and I appreciate any help given.

quartz

Wow, I had never heard of Orvis. Are they good? That's an interesting look for a chrono, but I would not enjoy reading the minutes subdial.
There is a line of moderately priced quartz from Seiko that feature a perpetual calendar. I think they are a great choice and you may like the style. Here is one in brown that I like. There are diffrent sizes and colors available.
Some Citizen Eco Drives feature sapphire crystals for just a bit more. Coupled with the solar power, they should last several years without any maintenance. 1, 2. Perhaps the latter on a different band would be much more versatile.
You can get a Seiko in Titanium, but it is small. Or a basic Kinetic with a discount. I like this one better.
I think Swatch offers a better finish and better quality than Timex or Nixon. I really like this Swatch. The band might be fake leather, I am unsure.
And I better stop before talking about Casios. I would stick with well known brands.
