My 11 month old has been using this for a few months now and I'm happy with it. The mattress is TIGHT, but it does fit. We ended up painting the crib to give some color. I bought a used mini-crib (similar model to this one) that will stay in our bedroom for the first 4-6 months and then we'll just wheel it into the nursery.
I feel like I considered all of the bassinets, baby box, moses basket, and pack and play before deciding the mini crib was likely safest and we'd get the most use out of it. I'm also hoping the continuity of being in the same bed will help with sleep training once kiddo is out of our room!
