Can we talk about how interesting this book in the video's description sounds though?

I'll have to add it to my enormous backlog and get to it...eventually...I got somewhere between 10-20 books to read and my reading time has gone to writing recently.

So for the past few years I have been writing a new fantasy novel set in a world where the past, present, and future combine into one world. This world is known as Aragor, and this is the world where the series of Descendence takes place.

The story follows a young man named Edge Marvik who is not sure what he wants to do with the life he currently has, however he begins to find his place in the world when an advanced cybernetic race known as the Catalysts, betray the humans that live in their city, Convexity.

They seal the city away in a barrier made of a matter unknown to the human eye. A simple single touch is all it takes, and death is quickly bestowed on the unfortunate human soul and body. The only way to escape the city and dispel the barrier, is to find and destroy twenty five Catalyst-Made machines, that were originally designed as a new defense system.

The city is now a battlefield for survival, creatures of nightmares lurk between the nine Districts of Convexity, and somewhere out there, the machines are waiting for a human feast. Edge is thrown into this battle of survival, and the book showcases the key events in his journey to survive The Catalyst Challenge.
