Amazon matched the price that Newegg had.. Oh, and I just checked, Newegg has it back in stock, weird.
Check out this 7970, it's cheaper.

Is there a particular reason for the 670? I ask because at $400 a 7970 is hands down a better performer. Amazon has one for $331 (make sure to buy through amazon, not another vendor) which would pony up $70 for you to get an ssd. You'd get a stronger video card and an ssd that way.
only other thing that comes to mind is a multiplier locked processor on a z77 board. Get an i5 3570k if you want to overclock or get a cheaper chipset if you don't.
The 7970 is on sale right now @ amazon for $312 after a 20 dollar mail in rebate. Get it while it's still in stock! 7 left at the time of this post.

I'm not the right person to ask about that. I just saw this deal and bought it, I'll worry about how much I can overclock it later.

Benchmark for his gpu
Ram really isn't super expensive nowadays Here's neweggs entry
Seems like the gpu could use an upgrade. his gpu is like $218, the gtx970 is like $338 and performs significantly better.
In case you're curious/it crossed your mind, Ark cannot utilize SLI/Crossfire yet because no dx12
Not all manufacturers are going to be as quick as others. example
There's a great power supply calculator somewhere, just search for it on google and put in all your components. It won't go over 750w, not even close. I won't start preaching how much better the 7970, expecially at prices like this, but just hope that your 680 doesn't have the same fate as my beloved Asus DCII TOP 670. Good luck with your build :)
Awesome!
Now here's the part where you save craptons of money and get an awesome computer in the process.
Enter Amazon Warehouse Deals.
Instead of the RAM I mentioned, get this
$20 in the bank!
Instead of my monitor, check out this open box model.
$20 more dollars in the bank!
Don't need a keyboard? Awesome! $50 to play with (or save).
So far, we're at $1110.
This is my webcam.
They have one for $17 shipped. It works.
For speakers, honestly, as an audiophile, you're better off going down to the Goodwill and buying yourself a vintage stereo system than buying a new set of speakers. I have a $200 stereo that my parents got me one year for Christmas.
I use the receiver to power my $3 Goodwill speakers from the 1980s. It's commonly known in audio that fidelity/sound quality of consumer electronics has gotten worse over time.
Now, with the left over money, you could pocket it and still have an Ultra quality system.
Or, you could spring for a 7970
Which style is your 7950? I have this. https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Radeon-GDDR5-Graphics-7970PE53G/dp/B006UACSZ4
Stays around 48° before a game is started. in game it goes 70-80°, after i close down a game it hovers around 60° for some reason.
In furmark i tried stress testing it, it went up to 85° 50% fan. Bsod my pc 8 minutes in lol.
