The SNES Pro is the size of a SNES controller, with some sticks. Which basically makes it a DualShock (since Sony basically took the SNES controller, added handles and L2/R2, and called it a day).
I'm with you on the DualShock 4 (this is what I use for retro gaming, personally) but a Switch Pro controller... nice, but, not for $70.
Is going for double than that on Amazon, so I say is a good deal.

The controller is $180 new on Amazon, I wouldn’t sell it to GameStop for $15 or whatever they give you
