If your warranty is expired and the issue is only a broken bumper, I implore you to fix it yourself.

I literally just fixed mine and it took 15 minutes after I had the parts and tools.

Yes, taking it apart voids any warranty, but it's REALLY easy to fix.

Buy this (https://www.amazon.com/XBOX-ONE-Controller-Opening-Kit-Screwdriver/dp/B00PG8SU26) to take apart your controller.

Watch this (https://youtu.be/MR6TuCnV0k8) for a walk through.

Trust me, it's really really easy and it saves you from buying a new controller.

Even if you're not tech savvy, I guarantee you'll be able to fix your controller without any issues.

The RB and LB are one part, and that one part is susceptible to breakage. Fortunately it's easy to fix. Buy a part like this and a Torx T8 security screwdriver (a lot of times sellers will include this with the part). There are tons of guides and videos online on how to open the controller and fix this part. It doesn't require a complete disassembly of the controller and is one of the easiest controller repairs for a novice.

[Edit: When you look at the picture of the replacement part, you should see why it's prone to breakage - its the really thin plastic that connects the two bumpers. Funny thing is the original XB1 controllers (with the IR Blaster inside) aren't built this way. They have independent spring assemblies for each bumper, and in my opinion seem better built than what newer controllers have.]

[Edit 2 : also, thanks for the Gold! Normally I have to make some extremely clever comment to get that. It's refreshing, albeit surprising to get it for just sharing knowledge.]

I think it’s still the same design. I’ve had mine for like three years now and my bumpers broke a month ago. It’s not an incredibly difficult fix if you order the replacement kit online (I think I got this one which worked fine) though.

I'm not sure if there's any way to fix it without disassembly, but I replaced mine not too long ago and it really wasn't difficult. I used this kit off Amazon (there are lots of others that are cheaper, this is just the one I picked because it had good ratings and came with all the different tools) and this video on YouTube and it took about 10 minutes. It works as good as new.

This what you want. I have no experience in repairing tech but was able to fix my controller with this kit and a youtube video.

Edit: There is also this one which is black and cheaper.

Order this piece (the kit is the best because it includes the screwdriver and the separater). I think this one is for the current model (Elite or non-Elite). If yours is the older version you can search for the appropriate kit.

Then check out this video if you need instruction. I found it very helpful.
