Picked up a pair of these for the office; and so far I've been pretty happy. I haven't cranked them up or anything -- mostly background noise...

but they seem to fit your reqs pretty well.

These worked nicely for me. Just make sure you've got the room since these are bookshelf speakers.

might be better off with headphones for $50? If you need speakers probably stick to creative or logitech, can't really get anything really good for $50 (book shelf speakers or similar)

EDIT: Maybe take a look at these:

Those are usually around that price. I like polk but the T15's are not really anything special. You will also need an amp for those so if you don't wan to buy an amp then you can look at powered speakers.

These are a great value right now

For $50 powered speakers it'll be hard to beat that. They're being phased out but the Dayton MK402BT's would be another option on sale:

https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-mk402bt-powered-bluetooth-2-way-bookshelf-speaker-pair-with-35mm-aux-in--300-458

They're upgrading to a newer model so they might run out soon, I bought one of the last pairs off Amazon recently.

JBL LSR305's are on a big discount for $180 for the pair, it's hard to avoid recommending them with a $200 budget. Some of the most well known studio monitors out there.

What do you guys think of these?

Any other decent bookshelf speakers w/ Bluetooth you can recommend?

u/ZGriswold · 1 pointr/audiophile

I am looking at powered speakers. I will be using these mainly for listening to music in my office. Source will be my PC, and hopefully, eventually a vinyl setup. I have max $150 to spend. I am looking at a powered setup for simplicity. I could probably be swayed into an amp/non powered combo, but I think it's a stretch at $150. I need something good for all genres of music, good bass, I understand a 2.0 bookshelf setup won't be like have a separate subwoofer. I have been going back and forth among about 10 pair of speakers and I just can't make a decision.

Please help me stop going in circles. I know some of these are more than $150...just hoping to catch a sale.

4" Edifier R980T $70 or Edifier R1010BT with bluetooth $80.

Or separates $50 6.5" Bookshelf Speaker Pair and Hi-Fi Mini Amplifier Bundle and if you do like separates which you can upgrade each part at a time reply for more $80 to $100 recommendations.

There is really not much decent under $100 that is powered and bluetooth plus nothing with wifi or NFC. This Edifier is about it:

https://www.amazon.com/Edifier-R1010BT-Bluetooth-Reference-Multimedia/dp/B071YV97LK/

If you can increase your budget there are a lot of pretty good choice at the under $200 mark. Like this refurbished Edifier:

I'd look for a pair of powered monitors if you have room for them. I've heard some OK things about this brand, and there's a 40% coupon right now:
