I write a lot. I am not an artist by any means, and my handwriting looks like worms are crawling on the paper, but i like to takes notes rather than type because if allows me to remember things that are written rather than typed.
So I've been trying various type of paperlike films, and I came to the conclusion that this is far the best paperlike screen protector when it comes to writing on iPads.
It also has matte finish so it does prevent fingerprints being visible, yet it does reduce the beauty of retina display, but it's not that bad.
The film is actually made in Japan, and it's not cheap. Amazon has it for $23. https://www.amazon.com/ELECOM-Paper-Feel-Anti-Fingerprint-Anti-Scratch-Bubble-Free/dp/B07KZHVTD6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1I6COBWXGGI6Z&keywords=elecom+ipad+pro+11&qid=1556199167&s=gateway&sprefix=elecom+%2Caps%2C541&sr=8-1
I would recommend the ELECOM over the Paperlike. The paperlike feels more like writing on fine cartridge paper resting on glass while the elecom is more like heavier drawing paper. IMO, the Paperlike just isn't paper-like enough. And it's more expensive. Perhaps the Paperlike 2 is going make some meaningful changes?
Read about issues with the PaperLike (surface texture wearing off etc), so I got this https://www.amazon.com/Elecom-Paper-Feel-Anti-Fingerprint-Anti-Scratch-Bubble-Free/dp/B07KZHVTD6 and seems to work pretty well!
