I really like it. It’s not my highest end bass, but it’s my only 5-string. It’s a heavy fucker, but Schecter did a great job beefing up the hardware by cutting corners on the aesthetics. I think it looks cooler that way anyways. The three band EQ is so nice that it’s now almost a hard requirement for any new bass I buy.
One thing about it, you have to get Ernie Ball 5-String Super-Long Scale strings or equivalent “super long scale” strings if you want the strings to go through the body since the neck is incredibly long. They’re fairly hard to find. Bought a really nice set of strings when I first got the bass and discovered that little nugget the hard way. I do really love that the bass has two full octaves for each string, though.
