This link should take you to the correct card.

So after reading up on the whole GTX 970 vs R9 390 debate I decided to go with the 970 but now Amazon has me confused because there are like 10 different types of the same card and I have no idea what the differences are nor what they mean.

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Cooling-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1452701959&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+970

Anyone care to help educate me?

u/nocookiesforme · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

Thank you both so much! I'll look into getting a 970. This one: http://amzn.com/B00R3NK2LE ?

u/mrj0000 · 2 pointsr/hardwareswap

I'm looking to get rid of mine. I bought it 8 months ago
Edit: I may even have the original box and accessories... I'd have look for them
edit 2: this is the one I currently own LINK

u/willxcore · 2 pointsr/pcgaming

I doubt they have it in store. I would just get the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ off Amazon with Prime.

I'm 99% certain they don't have that card on the shelves at the store and they will just order it for you once you get there.

Also EVGA makes like 5 different versions of the card. The part number on Best Buy looks like its the SSC version, which is $339 on Amazon, which I linked you to above.

u/CraigBeepBeep · 2 pointsr/Vive

I dont know what dollars you're referring to but its 320 US dollars on amazon.

I just looked back in my amazon orders and I have a:

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC Gaming ACX 2.0+ Cooling Graphics Card (04G-P4-3975-KR). Does this qualify for the $30?

u/RayzTheRoof · 1 pointr/buildapc

Oh damn I completely ignored that. I would swap the GPU for this though:
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-256bit-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1426207086&sr=1-3&keywords=evga+gtx+970

It's a bit more overclocked and the same price. Unless you want the MSI one for that color scheme.

u/CosmonautLaika · 1 pointr/buildapc

Consider a different cooler for the 970. The ACX 2.0 has an issue with heatpipes not lining up as well as they could. They fixed this with the ACX 2.0+ which is $10 more (for example, here: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-256bit-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE)

But I have heard the MSI GTX 970 Gaming is also a very good overclocker and would match your motherboard...

u/C0SMIC_Thunder · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

It's only about $30 more for a new one.

Personally I would look more towards one of these instead, which is even cheaper than the refurbished model.

u/thatguywhorows · 1 pointr/hardwareswap

I doubt you're going to get the price you want when Amazon and Newegg are offering either the same price or slightly more for a brand new card. And I don't know about anyone else but I wouldn't pay this much to someone who previously had an account banned.

Also just to note, that same overzealous mod may reject your timestamp (or ban you) again because your username on the stamp doesn't match whats on the site.

Price check on 2x EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ (04G-P4-3975-KR) – Used but in box w/ all cables/docs/stickers etc. as I got them. Warranty still good. $190-200 shipped / $170-180 local per? SLI bridge available for those interested in bundle.

Evga ssc.

It's quite a bit thinner than this strix 1070ti, based on its io pics. Not my pc, but this is what a 2 slot looks like with an atx psu: https://cdn.pcpartpicker.com/static/forever/images/userbuild/172465.637970eb811320326cd657323ee45304.0dc55a377caa7a0dfd5bccb1d79d87a4.1600.jpg

What are the prices that I could sell the used items below? Mobo/CPU together or individually priced is fine.

Intel i5 3570k CPU 4.7Ghz OC Stable.
It's been on a closed loop water cooler and runs 70 degrees in games.

Awesome. Did you get a specific subversion? Looking at this page:

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Cooling-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1464976401&sr=1-1&keywords=04g-p4-3975-kr

I think I want: "GTX 970 SSClk 2.0+"

The evga page mentions http://www.evga.com/support/stepup/ : "EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+ (04G-P4-3975-KR) (PDF)"

Do I need that specific version or am I looking too deep into this? Just any EVGA 970?

u/el_californio · 1 pointr/techsupport

Would this be a better option for me then?

u/ipha · 1 pointr/Vive

I have this 970: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Cooling-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE

Stock clocks I get ~7.8, overclocked(+100MHz core, +500MHz memory) I get 8.2.

Other system specs:
Windows 10
Stock i5-4670k
Samsung 850 EVO SSD
Nothing running except steam, no antivirus.

u/WilliamCZ · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Wait for RX 480 benchmarks.

Also EVGA SC has lower clocks than the SSC version and is the same price.

u/glowinghamster45 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

970 is the official entry level VR card. It should handle vr just fine, it'll absolutely handle any ps2 emulator.

That's a stupid good deal, to the point where I would question if it's stolen/fake.

u/_func · 0 pointsr/news

I jinxed it. It's going for 399 now http://www.staples.com/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-970-SSC-4GB-PCI-Express-3-0-Graphic-Card-With-ACX-2-0-Cooling/product_IM1YL1795

So yeah, i guess they caught on to a price glitch or something with that. Sorry.

You can price match to amazon for 309 but unless you have reward bucks on top of it, there's really no point http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Cooling-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE

u/dawn_NL · -1 pointsr/bapcsalescanada

currently I am sort of discussing a price with my coworker... if that turns out a bit negative here is the link to the one I have:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00R3NK2LE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

it's almost 2 years old.
