What about an embosser? This is an interesting gift, but I imagine some people wouldn't like to mark up their books this way but other people may love the idea. Maybe some fancy bookends or a journal where she can record what she has read along with her notes on the books she is reading.
Well, I know that I really want a book embosser for my library. Seems like one of those things you wouldn't think to buy for yourself, so maybe she doesn't have one yet!
