Oooo lala, what a great haul!! I'm so glad RAoC was able to brighten your day and remind you that you are cared for <3 Ahaha, and I'm really glad you got a kick out of the JT card :D

As far as the stamp, I bought this one in a moment of desperation in December. I typically wouldn't have bought the one with interchangeable letters, but I needed two day delivery around the holidays! It turned out to be pretty good :)

Happy Zambambo! (Also happy awesome birthday!)

A media mail stamp for all the books I mail.

What's more interesting than the silly stamp you linked to is the related items: similar stamp is the #1 best seller in the "business stamps & print kits" category; and a knockoff MAGA hat is somehow the #1 best seller in "Women's Costumes & Cosplay Apparel".

Who buys this crap?

u/applejade · 2 pointsr/bulletjournal

That might have gone much faster if you had one of these... lol.

It looks great though =)

u/razielsoulreaver · 6 pointsr/freemasonry

I bought this one. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it's a good size for sealing. Also, check out these guys for custom seals and an amazing wax selection.

Pretty sure I need this stamp now. It would be such a therapeutic ritual to stamp every piece of paper currency I come into contact with knowing that I might trigger a cuck as it circulates around this great country. An old fashioned library stamp! :) Looks like a lot of fun for crafting.

What about an embosser? This is an interesting gift, but I imagine some people wouldn't like to mark up their books this way but other people may love the idea. Maybe some fancy bookends or a journal where she can record what she has read along with her notes on the books she is reading.

I use recyclable packaging for my items. I order from a company called EcoEnclose, and I get these padded mailers and this honeycomb paper to replace bubble wrap. I've also found large boxes of the recyclable padded mailers on Amazon by searching for "Kraft Jiffy padded mailer," you can buy them in 50 or 100 packs.

As others have said, shredded paper or just crumpled paper also makes great padding, but be aware that newspaper ink can bleed, so I wouldn't use newspaper for anything you don't want stains on. I also save all the bubble wrap from things I order online and reuse it. I use a self inking "recycle" stamp to let me buyers know that the packaging is recyclable.

The issue is that the recyclable materials are a little more pricey than cheapo plastic stuff, so you might have to bump up your shipping and handling fees.

Replying to a weeks old comment here but for future people browsing - this has been one of my best purchases, as someone who lives in a house that used to be a rental and we still get mail for probably 6 previous tenants:

I have a roller stamp that I use over the sensitive information (address, names, etc.). Then I shred that paper as well by hand or scissor, but after stamping I don't feel I need to shred them as small anymore. :)

u/Old_and_tired · 24 pointsr/legaladvice

I had a ton of mail from my previous occupant of our home, so much that hand writing would have been too much. I found a stamp that has made this process MUCH easier for us.

u/j4de · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Well, I know that I really want a book embosser for my library. Seems like one of those things you wouldn't think to buy for yourself, so maybe she doesn't have one yet!

I just got a generic customizable stamp set. Available on amazon for around 10 USD. For example:

Do any of them come with a prepaid postage envelope? If so, I've read people have success with loading those envelopes with extremely heavy items (or even taping it to a box with a brick in it) and mailing it back to them with a note to remove them from the mailing list. That would work for the company mail. For mail from individuals (e.g. the inmate), could try getting a "Return To Sender" stamp and dropping it in the mail.

u/textrovert · 1 pointr/weddingplanning

I didn't want to use his last name until after the wedding - it would make it look like we're already married. So our invitations say both of our first and last names. But I did order a self-inking stamp with just our first names for our save-the-dates. This one from Amazon is cheaper than the Vistaprint ones, and free shipping! If I want to order another with our last name after we're married for thank-yous and such, it's only $8, but really just our first names will always work. For our formal invitations our return address will be printed on the envelope and we also have our separate first and last names.

My ink stamper with name and address came in on Friday. It made filling out MOs much quicker. Stamp, sign, done. Promptly went to my CU to deposit 17 of them. Anything to streamline the process, right?

EDIT: Amazon link if anyone wants it. It's good for WU MO's, not sure about MoneyGram. Font is def small.

Spend the $9 on amazon and get something like this stamp: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0745432KW/

Use it on every piece of mail addressed to any non-resident (aka: Your MIL) at your address and stick it back into the mailbox for pickup.

u/sethra007 · 10 pointsr/JUSTNOMIL

If a stalker tries to contact you 100 times, and you respond after the 100th attempt, regardless of the nature of your response all the stalker has learned is that it takes 100 contact attempts to get your response.

A suggestion! Get yourself the following two stamps:

  1. "RETURN TO SENDER"
  2. "NOT AT THIS ADDRESS"

...and an ink pad. Stamp all mail from Woeful Wendy with those stamps going forward.

The benefits of the stamps are:

  3. Returned mail won't have the handwriting of any family member on it (which inadvertently confirms to WW that you know you're getting mail from her)
  4. The stamps will look vaguely official (like the mail is perhaps being marked that way by the post office)

Hopefully the cumulative impression will be that you and your family have relocated, leaving WW with no idea where you're at now.

I bought an embosser a few months ago and I think I'm going to buy one for every book lover I know. Mine says, "Property of the [LastName] Library," but you can choose everything about the one you order.

u/DefaulT-Reximus14 · 156 pointsr/HomeImprovement

I got this stamp from amazon for 10 bucks

u/otnokanid · 3 pointsr/rupaulsdragrace

Here you go, sis. Be a crafty queen!

u/FlappingHands · 2 pointsr/legaladvice

You can let him know that he need to change his address with those companies. Write "Return to Sender. Not at this address." on the envelopes and dump them in the nearest outgoing mailbox. If it is a lot of mail, you might want to invest $10 in one of those "Return to Sender" stamps to simplify the process.

u/7in2 · 2 pointsr/Entrepreneur

I prefer a custom self inking stamp. The label part is just expensive wasted stickers.

Places like CNN and MSNBC were constantly losing money up until 2016. Now it's perpetual election cycle for them and they are profitable for the first time in decades. Combine that with a lot of extreme partisans who have become addicted to stories reinforcing their own morality and casting the other side as extreme evil and you have a self-reinforcing iron triangle. It's no longer about politics so much as tribal warfare. And it's more important to enrage the other side who are evil than it is to achieve some specific policy objective.
