My dress is a two piece sheath silhouette (with no cups or support) and also has thin straps. I generally have a terrible time finding bras that fit and I didn't really want to use separate pieces or have lumps and bumps showing through. I'm 5'7" 157lbs and gain most weight in my mid-section and have small hips. This shaper helped define my waist especially around the ribs (still have a bit of lower pooch), holds up and shapes my boobs without padding them and really was exactly what I needed!
