Given the adapter used, we can deduce that the lens has a Canon FD mount. The focus distance scale goes from 5 meters to infinity, so that tells us it's likely a wide-angle lens. f/3.8 isn't something we see all that often nowadays...

A bit of googling brings me to find that it looks awfully similar to the Cosina FD 20mm f/3.8—the only difference seems to be the pattern on the rubber of the focus ring.

[I got this one](Fotasy A7FD Pro Canon FD ens to Sony A7II A7S A7R II Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Adapter (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WTQAMJW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_S2w3xb8XD955C)

You can certainly get older vintage lenses adapted to the a6000. I have personally used this adapter here to adapt a Canon 28mm f2.8 FD mount and a Canon 200mm f2.8 FD mount lenses which I got for cheap and they worked great. Please note these are manual focus lenses and your aperture stops will be manual as well. For the price they perform decently and for a budget/first setup they are great. I am all about spending a small amount of money while learning new skills in order to spend more money later in order to be confident investing more into the photography world (which is very easy to do!), even if it just a hobby!

Overall if you are using "dumb" adapters you will lose auto focus but can get something like the Sigma MC-11 and get auto focus on lenses of the sort (feel free to Google that), but the adapter is much more expensive and it is typically just better to buy native glass at this price.

If I were you, I would try to find some cheap lenses to learn on and save money for FF (if that is your plan) as a used a7Rii can easily be hundreds of dollars for the body itself. Quality full frame lenses can easily be +$1,000 for one!

Canon FD 85mm f/1.8 (with [a $15 adapter](http://amzn.to/1SC2tyC "Fotasy A7FD Pro Canon FD/Sony NEX Lens Adapter")) is pretty great for under $200.

Its a Fotasy FD-A7ii I got from Amazon for around $18, works like a charm if you don't have the money to spend on Sony glass
