Considering you can buy a certified refurbished 235 from Garmin themselves on Amazon (link) for 208$, I would say it's not an awful deal but if you weren't planning on buying one anyway I wouldn't necessarily pull the trigger for that one.
A refurbished 235 would do the trick without breaking the bank. I got mine 18 months ago and it's been awesome.
