I just redid my undercablinet lights.

  • Had a GE dimmer installed, to have all the lights connect via z-wave

  • So my setup reads: House power> GE dimmer > First light >(no longer hard wired, but daisy chained)> 2nd light > 3rd light > 4th light

  • Used GetInLight 3 Color Levels Dimmable LED Under Cabinet Lighting. Seems to be one of the best rated on amazon. And they can be daisy chained with little cords after the first one is hooked to the house power.

  • The start of the daisy chain can be plugged in via a normal wall outlet or hard wired. They sell a separate under cabinet junction box if you dont want to hard wired in the first light, but a junction box. This is normally due to where the romex cable is coming from... DO NOT have exposed romex cable - it is not up to code. Super flexible system.

  • It has 3 temperatures. Warm White (2700K), Soft White (3000K), Bright White (4000K).

  • It is the only light that matched our 4000k bright white ceiling leds.

  • Make sure it is the same color (temperature) as lights throughout your room, if it doesn't match, it looks odd.
