All books listed below(besides the two you listed as read) are linked to their amazon site at the bottom of this post
"It's Kind of a Funny Story" has been my favourite book since it first came out and I'm reading "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" right now. I too am looking for similar books.
I read "Thirteen Reasons Why" a long time ago and thought it was a good book but did not take a liking to it too much.
"Go Ask Alice" and "Jay's Journal" are good reads leaning towards topics of depression.
I started reading "Cut" by Patricia McCormick in a small bookstore but never actually was able to finish it but it caught my attention and I was drawn into the book immediately. After Perks I plan to read it. I haven't been able to read the full length of any of McCormick's books but they all sound intriguing and they are definitely on my list of books to read. I suggest taking a look at her amazon website for her books and what they're about
"Get Well Soon" by Julie Barnes is also on my to-read list.
I think you would like the book "Suicide Notes". I feel like it's one of those hidden-gem books where it is not too well known but is an amazing read. I don't want to give away too much.
So, overall, I recommend checking out:

I've just finished Go ask Alice, it is pretty great :)

Geisha: A life by Mineko Iwasaki, is also one of my favorite book...

If you like comics and graphic novels, read The league of extraordinary gentlemen, Watchmen, The crow, Essex county a book about the rural lifestyle, hockey and family issues...

All of those are books I really loved and hope you will like if you read them :)

Go Ask Alice. Crazy story about a teen's struggle with addiction in American society.

http://www.amazon.com/Go-Ask-Alice/dp/1416914633/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268917241&sr=1-1

Worth the read - especially if you have daughters or are interested in understanding the dark parts of American culture, teen influence, and drug addiction.

edit: Just read the Amazon reviews. I read this book when I was in high school, and it was a riveting read. Not a literary classic, not a journalistic report but still interesting. Perhaps akin to A Million Little Pieces? That wasn't exactly a true story, but still a crazy look (fictional or not) into what happens (or could happen) to serious drug users. And as for it being anti-drug propaganda, whatevs. It's a story. Read it through your lens.

This is one of the most underrated books; "Go Ask Alice" by anonymous.

This book changed my life at a very young age. It's a short read and I recommend everyone read it.
