For under the counter I used these 2700k led strips and some generic RGB for above the cabinets ones from China on eBay. The under-counter lights aren't quite incandescent warm, but they still look pretty great, and the entire strip only draws ~0.55 amps at 12v. I was hoping to get some of the GE Christmas lights on clearance and individually addressable LEDs up top. There are addressable strips available but they are rather expensive, one day I will have chase sequences on my cabinets.
