Sorry for responding so late. Here's an album with the bottom of the board.

.

Here's a list of all the items I used:

LED 6.5 ft strip ($17)

10000 mAh external battery ($15)

Gorilla Super Glue ($6)

Scotch Extreme Double Sided Mounting Tape ($7)

.

Some notes:

The LED lights come with a peel and stick bottom, however they will fall off eventually with extensive riding, which is what the gorilla glue is for.

LED lights also change colors!

Double sided tape is for the battery pack. After extensive riding (like 2 months of night time riding), the tape did eventually start to peel off, but it might also be because of the weird shape of the battery pack I bought. Might be better to get a flatter one than the one I got to get more contact on the board. Or mount it with something more permanent.

With the LED strips, it's important not to bend the strips against their natural shape. I bought a 6.5 ft strip, which is long, because I wanted the extra brightness for my board. So to help solve the bending issue, I curved them around to help keep their natural shape as best as possible. You could cut the strips (they are trimmable) and solder them together instead of doing the hokey curve I did. But I'm too lazy.

The battery pack is awesome. I've had it for almost 2 months and still haven't charged it. Make sure when you buy an LED strip that it's powered by USB. Battery packs WILL NOT work. Sidewalks, rough roads, big cracks will make the batteries fall out. You need a power brick.
Make sure the USB stays snug in the battery pack, rough roads were making it pop out of the USB port, so to combat this, I made the USB cable as straight as possible and taped it down close to the connector, so it has to stay straight.
You'll notice that I used the double sided tape as extra for the curved sections of the LED, you could use something else, but I had some to spare so I used it. Stuff is pretty strong. Duct Tape is surprisingly not as good.

Tape off extra straggling wires, or glue them, or do something else. I'm not going to tell you how to live your life.

Do not ride over puddles. The LED lights and battery pack are water proof, but water can make the glue and tape come off.

.

TL;DR

Super glue LED strips to board

Tape battery and loose parts to board

Don't bend LED strips

Water bad

I use this, no problems with PLA.

I don't fold modulars, but I use that a lot. For representational stuff I mix that PVA and this [Methyl Cellulose] (http://www.talasonline.com/Methyl-Cellulose). The MC extends the drying time and makes the application smoother, and soak through more layers.

You can also use a superglue gel like this one

No, I have never used that glue so I can't comment on if it is safe to use or not.

What I use is this one. It's not liquid like glue like the ones you get at the dollar store. The gel like texture makes it easier to glue down coral. I've used this glue multiple times this year in my display and frag tanks.

  1. Buy some tins.
  2. Buy some magnets and glue.
  3. Buy some adhesive lables in whatever size fits your tins.
  4. Combine.

I would recommend against clear containers since they're going to be exposed to light.

I realize this is an old post, but...
I pinned her. 24 pins plus 1 for the base. I use a combination of pin sizes, .5mm for the arms and other very tiny parts (ie. the ones most likely to fall off), up to either a 5/8mm or 1mm...it's been a while, sorry. It's a lot of pins, a lot of work, and very worth it.
These are my smallest bits. They are size 76 titanium, which is .0003mm larger than exactly .5mm. I pair that bit (which comes in packs of 10) with this wire. It's just slightly thinner than the bit, which was planned so that there is actually room in the hole for glue. This combination works very well. I pin everything. Every limb, every model, every time. When I pin, I go at least 3mm deep, but often as much as 4-6mm when using a larger bit. For colossals, I pin very large parts with actual nails.

I only use thick super glue, the thicker, the better. I need my glue to stay where I put it, especially when working with tiny parts. Right now, I use this Gorilla Glue Gel.

She's a great model...my favorite in the faction. I did a conversion for her where she's holding the Convergence caster Aurora in her hands while her large pincers rip the wings off of her former teammate. It seemed like sweet justice that the Numen of Necrogenesis should be sharing her gifts with the Numen of Aerogenesis.
Here are some links to photos, if interested. Front View, Side View.

I use these bases (25mm) with the numbered rings here. Play around with scaling of the numbered rings to get them to fit the bases just right.

I prefer to use these bases with the numbered rings because they are a bit taller than the other bases on thingiverse, so the figures stand above the rings.

I print the monsters and bases separately, then use gorilla glue gel to attach them.

Yes I did do this. It did work and I still have a full bottle to use on anything else I find that needs to be bonded. I didn't think I'd have the issue with the glue as my setup is in my basement so it never gets very hot, but it did end up peeling off the top right-most grip. Here's the exact glue I purchased from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OAAUAX8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have also used Krazy clue in the past with the same results.
