Memory cards, lol.

You can:

  1. remove the hard drive, and either hook it up in different desktop (if it's a SATA connection, anyway. if it uses IDE ribbon cables it probably won't hook up) OR

  2. you can find yourself an external drive enclosure and use that to hook it up and transfer files off of it.

Since based on your post I'm guessing you're not very savvy when it comes to this sort of thing, I would say option 2 is your best bet. Either way, you should probably get someone who knows what they're doing to help you out.

The 32gb system only has about 25gb space available (source) for downloads. WWHD and Smash are both very large titles, so everything you said sounds about right. :( Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear. I would recommend buying a CHEAP external hard drive case (this is the one I used) and then taking a full sized hard drive out of an old PC or something.

HDD is still the way to go for media storage. If you get something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004K4TE5O/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_hlXEwbQY6WWG9, then you can get a 1TB internal hard drive and turn it into an external hard drive, which is cheaper than buying an external hard drive. Not sure if that would work for you but that's what I do for my desktop PC.

Have you looked into deleting other stuff? Trash is empty, etc? Photos take up a huge amount of space if you have a lot of them.

Here you go.

It is just an enclosure. You essentially make your own external hard drive by sticking a 3.5" hard drive in it. It is really easy. The best option if you already have a decent hard drive laying around.

I bought this case last year for $10 (currently 17) and I got an old hdd from a dead comp I had (a 250 gb). but heres an inexpensive 1tb hdd thats great.

This enclosure and any 3.5" SATA HDD you can find.

EDIT: Here's the Amazon link. It's cheaper there, too.

Best bet? Get a USB hard drive enclosure, disable USB AutoPlay (in Control Panel), plug it in, and format it.

I'd recommend doing this:

Rosewill Aluminum 3.5-Inch USB 2.0 External Enclosurel + Western Digital 160GB 3.5" Hard Drive

I use a similar aluminum case with a 1TB hard drive for extra Wii U space and for XCX data packs.

So for about $40 you can have a dedicated powered hard drive for more space on your Wii U. Of course you could get any 3.5" drive for it if you wanted more space or if you have an extra one laying around. That was about the cheapest I could find on Amazon.
