I like the single pie-face version because it feels more random; instead of just whomever is mashing the fastest.
The idea that attention is an unlimited resource, especially when dealing with a market where $50,000 is actually a big deal is hilarious. Trust me, they don't care. Every RPG they have makes less money than Pie Face, a game about hitting each other with a pie in the face. D&D means far less to them than Pie Face, and they're focusing their meetings on Pie Face and other products that make them money.
